"My first interaction with a chiropractor was my first visit to Cotswold Chiropractic Center to see Dr. Wiener in July of 2012. My wife was already being treated by Dr. Wiener, and she was the one that coaxed me into making the first appointment for which I am very grateful now. Dr. Wiener immediately made me feel comfortable and through a series of visits, X-rays, etc, she diagnosed that I had a short right leg to the tune of 8mm. She started me on a series of heel lifts and now I am balanced with a 7mm lift. She also fitted me with orthotics for my shoes which immediately reduced the pain and fatigue I was having in my legs and knees. We also started buying probiotics and digestive enzymes from Dr. Wiener, which has been very positive for my wife and me.

Since then Dr. Wiener has sold the practice to Dr. Derrick Dempsey. The transition was seamless. Dr. Dempsey sat in on a couple of treatment sessions and helped perform the adjustments alongside Dr. Wiener. My wife and I felt very comfortable with Dr. Dempsey from our initial interactions with him, so we decided to continue receiving treatment from him.

Dr. Dempsey picked up right where Dr. Wiener left off. He has been monitoring my progress with the heel lifts and has been focusing on other "out of place" areas on my back. His treatment process is very thorough on every treatment which has helped with the muscle re-training process while my spine continues to re-align itself. Dr. Dempsey is a good-sized guy, so he is able to really get into that adjustment and push when needed.

Dr. Dempsey and his wife Nancy have made some really nice changes to the office including new furniture, repainting, and audible music which makes the waiting process and treatment room a nice environment (although I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes). It has been a pleasure to get to know Nancy and she is always very helpful when it comes time to schedule the next week's visit.

With all of this being said, I would definitely recommend Dr. Dempsey to anyone thinking about or already receiving chiropractic treatment. I don't feel that Dr. Dempsey is there just to twist a neck or pop a back. He is genuinely focused on the treatment process and is always asking about how things feel and what needs to be addressed before each session. I have never felt that he has rushed through a treatment or not taken the right amount of time to make sure things are done correctly. I never thought that I needed chiropractic care before July 2012, but I can assure you, I will continue to receive chiropractic care for the rest of my life because of all the positive effects it has had on my body and wellbeing."
