Heavy Metal Exposure and Toxicity

Heavy metals are toxic poisons that cause damaging effects within the body.

Mercury, cadmium, lead, aluminum, arsenic, and nickel are the most common heavy metals. These metals disrupt the cellular membrane destroying your ability to draw vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants into the cell. If that occurs, your body lacks the ability to make hormones and other antioxidants to keep the body alive.

The medical establishment only recognizes acute heavy metal toxicity that makes the evening news, as we have most recently witnessed a severe case in Flint, Mi. It is important to realize that mercury and other heavy metals accumulate in the body, and levels therefore increase with age and over time producing chronic symptoms. It’s the adverse effects from these low-level, chronic exposures to multiple metals that create a problem. As a result, often times a person does not associate one’s fatigue, depression, anxiety, or digestive stress with a toxic load of heavy metals. Almost everyone, regardless of their specific symptoms or diagnoses, has sustained significant exposure to toxic metals.

Mercury is one of the most toxic substances on the planet.

Historically people who have worked in factories where they were exposed on a daily basis to trace amounts of mercury developed severe DEMENTIA.

Signs you may be mercury toxic:

  • Digestive distress and inability to properly utilize and assimilate fats
  • Fatigue
  • Joint and muscle aches
  • Impaired blood sugar regulation
  • Depression, irritability, and anxiety
  • Kidney damage
  • Central Nervous System dysfunction
  • Immune problems
  • Reproductive problems and infertility

Heavy Metal Toxicity FAQ’s

How do heavy metals get inside my body?

Mercury – Science shows the primary source is dental amalgam filling and to a lesser extent it is found in vaccinations and food sources. Mercury accumulates in the brain, heart, kidneys and endocrine glands and may cause depression, auto-immune diseases, memory loss, tremors, anemia, thyroid issues, and heart attack.

Lead – is found in cosmetics, gasoline, soldered pipes, and paint. Lead accumulates in the brain, liver, kidneys and bones. Associated with Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, and lowers I.Q. scores.

Cadmium – The general population is exposed from breathing cigarette smoke or eating cadmium contaminated foods. Cadmium damages the lungs, may cause kidney disease, and may irritate the digestive tract.

Nickel – is found in stainless steel cutlery, pots and pans, coins, dental fillings and batteries. It accumulates in the bones, kidneys, liver, lungs, immune system and the brain where it may cause genetic damage and cancer.

How do I know if I have heavy metal toxicity and how do I remove these metals from my body?

When heavy metals are present your cells become toxic and may either die or mutate into a cancerous environment. Proper testing is imperative to locate the source and severity. Once identified, the source must be removed. Incorrectly detoxifying heavy metals may cause serious complications.
