Avoiding Processed Food and Eating Real Food
We know how important nutrition is, including avoiding processed food and eating real food.
The Dangers of Sprayed Produce
Unfortunately, the sprayed produce that we eat will most likely increase your toxic load. Pesticide exposure has been linked to various nervous system disorders, allergic reactions, cancers and other problems.
Eat Organic
So when you can buy organic it is best. However, groceries are expensive. Here are some lists of produce that you should definitely buy organic because of the thin skin and high absorption and some you don’t need to.
There are 12 types of produce, known as the “Dirty Dozen,” that are recommended to buy organic due to their thin skin and higher pesticide absorption. On the other hand, the “Clean 15” list includes 15 fruits and vegetables that generally don’t need to be purchased organic.
Since organic produce can be more expensive, I thought this list could be helpful when budgeting for groceries.
